Terms & Conditions

By booking a cleaning service with Purposeful Polish, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“the customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Guarantee and Re-Cleans

We strive to exceed your expectations. If you are unsatisfied with your cleaning for any reason, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service. In such cases, we will gladly provide one re-clean of the affected area(s) at our expense, within 7 days of the original service date. Refunds are not offered under any circumstances.

2. Scope of Work and Additional Charges

All quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking, including number of bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, and the condition of the home. The quoted price includes an estimated maximum job time. If the property is in worse condition than described, or if the scope of work exceeds the initial estimate, additional time will be charged at our standard hourly rate.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for:
– Additional rooms or areas not previously disclosed
– Heavily soiled spaces, pet hair, excessive buildup, or hoarding conditions
– Requests made during service that fall outside of the originally agreed-upon scope

3. Payment Terms

A **non-refundable 20% deposit** is due upon booking to secure your appointment. The **remaining balance will be charged to the card on file** immediately upon job completion.

By booking service, you authorize Purposeful Polish to store your card securely and charge it for the balance due, including any additional time or fees incurred.

4. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Rescheduling is free when done **at least 24 hours in advance**. Same-day reschedules incur a **$25 rescheduling fee**. Cancellations forfeit the deposit.

All appointments include a **1-hour arrival window**, meaning your cleaners may arrive up to 60 minutes before or after the scheduled time.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best service, clients must:
– Provide accurate property details during booking
– Secure pets and valuables
– Ensure access to the property during the scheduled window
– Remove clutter and dishes prior to cleaning

Cleaners will not perform tasks not included in the scope of work (e.g. pest removal, structural repair, mold remediation, biohazard cleaning, laundry unless booked).

6. Disputes and Refund Policy

Refunds are **not issued for dissatisfaction, speed of service, or subjective expectations**. Service complaints must be reported within 24 hours for eligibility for a re-clean.

Attempting to withhold payment or dispute charges after receiving service constitutes a breach of this agreement and may result in collections or legal action.

7. Damage and Liability

Purposeful Polish is insured. If accidental damage occurs, it must be reported to us **within 24 hours** of the service. Claims made after this window will not be considered. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items not properly secured or stabilized.

8. Website Terms of Use

By using our website (https://purposefulpolish.com), you agree not to misuse forms, attempt unauthorized access, or extract data for commercial purposes. Any personal information submitted via our website is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. SMS and Communications

We may send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups via SMS.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

10. Agreement

By paying your deposit, booking online, or otherwise confirming service, you agree to all terms stated above.
